and removal. We offer a variety of services, from animal damage repair to waste cleanup, dead animal removal and odor control, and more. We handle several nuisance wildlife
species, including squirrels, raccoons, snakes, skunks, and opossums. We also perform bat removal and bird control services, and rodent control, including poison-free mouse and
rat removal. Give us a call any time at 843-491-4866 to discuss your Conway animal control issue, and to schedule a fast appointment.
Conway wildlife control tip of the month:
What is the best material to exclude a bat?
Different materials to oust bats:
Unlike rodents bats do not gnaw their way through wood or building Conway animal control material. Some soft materials
like insulation batting can easily be attached to building with heavy duty staple gun. There are many
effective materials available in the market such as expansion foam caulking, screening, insulation and
fleshing to exclude bats. Stainless steel rustproof scouring pads, stainless steel wool and weather
stripping are excellent materials in order to block narrow, long Conway animal control cracks.
Caulking:
As the structure ages cracks and crevices start developing and it is a good opportunity for the Conway exterminator bats
to get inside the home. Caulking seals such openings. With the change in weather wood expands and contracts
therefore it would be best to apply caulking during the dry periods when cracks are showing their widest.
Sometimes cracks expand and some filler becomes necessary before the caulking compound is applied.
There are several caulks that may be applied with a calking Conway exterminator gun. Butyl, acrylic and latex have a
durability of almost five years and can be Conway pest control painted. Silicon rubber is clear, long lasting and almost
invisible so matches any décor. You can apply the caulking between door drip siding and caps, between window sills and siding etc.
Weather- stripping:
The space between door bottom and floor may be sealed with weather- stripping, a gap stopper or a draft shield as
it could be a crawling passage for bats. The weather- stripping is made of several materials like aluminum, nylon,
vinyl, hard rubber, felt, fine wire and natural fibers. The flexible nylon filaments that are comprised of a substantial
brush can move easily in any direction. It can seal any sort of gaps, stops the Conway pest control drafts as well as reduces heat loss.
Screening:
When the Conway wildlife removal screening is essential the mesh must be little enough to prevent the access of the little mammal, bats. Bats can be
easily entered the ventilators that are not screened properly. The hardware cloth for ventilators should be of 8 X 8 mesh.
Outlet and inlet ventilators must be properly installed. Type of the ventilator, its location in Conway wildlife removal building and direction of
prevailing air currents might be the most important factors as buildings of identical design and different orientation,
in fact vary in the attractiveness to bats. Bats can also use an old or unused Conway animal trapping
chimney as the chimney’s rough surfaces
offer a suitable spot for bats to hang.
